As a result of attending Assente's Train the Trainer Safeguarding course, a further sixteen home managers and trainers from a range of services are now accredited to deliver the mandatory Foundation Safeguarding course within their organisations.
Assente has also just booked a further 15 delegates onto its next GCC commissioned Train the Trainer course in March.
The Train the Trainer course is proving particularly valuable to organisations as they seek to cut costs as a result of the current spending cuts. Accreditation means that courses can be delivered in-house at a convenient time rather than needing to send staff on external courses. It also allows the organisation to make direct links and references to its own in-house standards and the requirements of the legislation during the course.
