We know about social care and we know about learning and development and we know about management.
We want to be able to go to work each day and feel that we have made the best use of our experience, skills and knowledge. We enjoy being involved in work that gives us the opportunity to develop our skills and knowledge further because we believe that working with people offers constant insight and learning.
Before we set up Assente, the directors and key staff worked with people – adults, children, families – in a range of situations. We’ve worked in Local Authority services, in private companies and in the voluntary sector. We’ve worked at both strategic and operational levels and we want to use the expertise to really help people navigate the world of social care services.
We want to make a difference because making a difference motivates us as directors. We want to feel proud of the work that we do. We think that the best way we can to do that is to listen to what you have to say and to suggest innovative and achievable solutions that will work for you.
We are a private company with two directors who want to provide a locally based, consistently effective service to a group of customers whose circumstances are known to them personally.
