The Professional Managers’ Programme

We are delighted to announce a new specialist management and leadership programme for Gloucestershire Early Years and Childcare sector.

Following a robust selection process Assente Limited and Gloucestershire Enterprise Ltd are pleased to have been appointed as the two specialist management development training organisations to deliver this programme on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.

In 2008 a review of management and leadership in the early years and childcare sector in Gloucestershire highlighted that making a difference to the lives of children and families is a management and leadership challenge. It was clear that there are too few opportunities for managers to learn about leadership and management in a way that meets their needs.

The Professional Managers’ Programme is based on what you told us you needed in order to do your job as a manager in an early years setting. It is being delivered in a way that will give you the support you need to put your learning into practice and it will make a real difference to you, the children and your organisation.
